The Salvation Army of Wake County has been serving the community since 1887, providing hundreds of thousands of people with food, shelter, clothing and Hope. The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible, its ministry motivated by the love of God. The mission: to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name, without discrimination.
The Salvation Army of Wake County is an organization that impacts our community on a daily basis — feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and giving Hope to the hopeless. It is imperative that their mission and message be clearly communicated to volunteers, donors and those in need of services. For this effort, in all its forms, The Salvation Army relies on Springboard Eydo.
After having developed the organization's website several years ago, Springboard Eydo has recently created The Salvation Army's new website, designing and developing a site that is even more user-friendly and effective for the organization's service efforts. The Salvation Army also turned to Springboard Eydo to create their 2007 Annual Report, a book that powerfully illustrates the Army's mission through the poignant stories of individuals whose lives have been forever changed by its services. The firm is currently in the process of creating The Salvation Army's 2008 Annual Report as well. And each quarter, Springboard Eydo develops a regional newsletter to share Army news, events and stories that make a difference to all of Wake County.
